QEII reopens north of Calgary following semi-truck fire

The QEII highway north of Calgary has reopened after a semi-truck caught fire on Friday afternoon.

Didsbury RCMP say officers responded to reports of a tractor-trailer on fire on the highway at Township Road 294.

Police say the driver was able to detach his load before crews showed up and put out the fire.
