Global Fest will take place at Elliston Park all weekend long.

The Confluence
The Confluence will be hosting an array of country music for a three-day event.
Some of the best in country music ready to entertain, with artists like Dallas Smith, The Reklaws, ‘Hardy’ Elle King, Meghan Patrick And Luke Combs, as Country Thunder returns to Alberta.

Carifest
Calgary’s Caribbean festival, Carifest, kicked off Friday with its “Night Carnival” at Shaw Millennium Park and continues until Sunday.

Saturday began with a parade on Stephen Avenue towards the park at 12 p.m., where dancers take to the streets to strut their stuff.
“Carifest is a lively multicultural street party that welcomes everyone,” the site reads.
Saturday goes from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m., and a “Reggae Cool Down” from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday.
The event is free of charge.
