School bus, flipped SUV involved in SW Calgary crash

Roads have reopened in southwest Calgary after a serious crash involving a school bus that left a vehicle flipped on its side. Rayn Rashid reports.

Roads have reopened in southwest Calgary after a serious crash involving a school bus that left an vehicle flipped on its side.

Emergency crews were called to southbound Crowchild Trail at Glenmore Trail SW around 12:40 p.m. for reports of a crash.

Police tell CityNews there were 40 students on the bus and all have been accounted for. Two students were checked out by paramedics for minor injuries.

The driver of the car has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
