Suspect accused of sexually assaulting woman at knifepoint in downtown Calgary located

Police are looking for a suspect after a woman was sexually assaulted at knifepoint in downtown Calgary earlier this month.
Investigators say the woman was walking near 6 Avenue and 10 Street SW around 6:30 a.m. on Nov. 3 when she was approached by a stranger.
It is alleged the man threatened her with a knife and the woman ran to a nearby apartment entrance. The suspect followed her and again threatened her with a knife in the entrance before sexually assaulting her.
The suspect ran away before the victim was found by Calgary Transit peace officers.
Police have identified the suspect as 33-year-old Karmal Ismail. He is described as 5’11” tall, 155 lbs. with a medium build, black hair and brown eyes.
He is wanted for sexual assault with a weapon and forceable confinement.
