Child hospitalized following crash in NE Calgary

A child sent to hospital in critical condition stemming from a crash in northeast Calgary Friday has been upgraded to stable condition.
Calgary police say they were called to the crash scene on the intersection of Centre Street and Livingston Avenue shortly after 3 p.m.
Officers believe a 2020 Volvo was heading southbound on Centre Street when it collided with a 2008 Mazda.
Police tell 660 NewsRadio a 2-year-old child in a car seat was rushed to hospital in critical condition, which was later upgraded to stable condition.
Roads at the intersection reopened late Friday after it was closed while officers investigated.
The investigation is ongoing.
