Suspect arrested after 3 stabbed including 2 youth in Airdrie

An arrest has been made after three people, including two youths, were stabbed in Airdrie early Saturday, according to RCMP.
Mounties say they went to the northwest area of Airdrie near Williamstown on reports of multiple stabbings at around 1 a.m.
Three stabbing victims, which include two youths, were found and rushed to hospital.
Two of the victims are in serious but stable condition, while the third is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
While details are unclear, Mounties say they found a male suspect with the help of Calgary police’s HAWCS helicopter.
“The suspect was arrested at the scene without incident,” RCMP say.
The unnamed suspect faces multiple charges, including three for aggravated assault, three for assault with a weapon, one for possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and one for carrying a concealed weapon.
Mounties believe the incident is isolated and say there is no risk to public safety.
The investigation is ongoing.
