Body found in Bow River near downtown Calgary

Police are investigating after a body was found in the Bow River near downtown Calgary on Thursday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the river just east of the 10 street bridge along Memorial Drive NW around 2:50 p.m.
The Calgary Fire Department tells CityNews the body was secured by firefighters just upstream of the Peace Bridge.
Fire crews remain on scene to assist police and the medical examiner.
The investigation is ongoing, but police believe to be non-suspicious.
No other details are being shared at this time.
