1 flees in NE multi-vehicle hit and run crash: Calgary Police

Calgary police are investigating a multi-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday afternoon in the city’s northeast, leaving one person injured and a driver fleeing the scene.

A driver has fled the scene of a multi-vehicle crash in northeast Calgary on Tuesday, police say.

It happened on 16 Avenue and 36 Street just before 2 p.m.

Police say three vehicles were involved, with them adding that the driver who fled is believed to be injured.

EMS says they responded, but everyone else involved refused treatment.

An investigation is underway.
