Mounties in Airdrie are looking for witnesses following a road rage incident that left one driver hurt on Highway 2 earlier this month.
RCMP say the confrontation occurred on Nov. 11, around 6:15 p.m., in the northbound lanes of the highway between Township Roads 290 and 292, just north of Airdrie.
Both vehicles involved had pulled over on the shoulder before an altercation broke out.
According to investigators, one of the drivers was returning to his vehicle when the other motorist struck him with their car while fleeing the scene. The victim was knocked to the ground and sustained minor injuries.
RCMP are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage from the area during that time to contact police.
Anyone with information is urged to call Airdrie RCMP or submit tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
