Claresholm high school evacuated due to ‘false’ bomb threat

RCMP in southern Alberta evacuated a high school due to a bomb threat on Friday morning.

Claresholm RCMP say the threat was made to Willow Creek High School around 11 a.m. Friday morning.

The threat was written on a bathroom stall, according to police. The building was evacuated to allow investigators to search it.

RCMP say the threat was deemed to be false.

The incident is now being investigated as public mischief.

Claresholm is 130 kilometres south of Calgary.
