Suspects sought after late‑night BB gun, bat attack in NE Calgary

Calgary police are asking for help identifying these men in relation to an ongoing property damage investigation.

Police are appealing for public help after two men armed with a baseball bat and a BB gun allegedly smashed up a vehicle and fired shots at a home in northeast Calgary last month.

Calgary police say the incident happened around 1:30 a.m. on Jan. 17, when a resident on Saddlelake Way NE was woken up by a loud noise outside.

When the witness looked out, they saw an unknown man jump into a white SUV and speed away.

Investigators believe two suspects arrived in what is thought to be a white Ford SUV, got out, and deliberately damaged a parked vehicle using a baseball bat and a BB gun. Police say the pair also fired BB rounds at the home before fleeing.

Police are now turning to the public to help identify the suspects.

The driver is described as a man in his late teens or early 20s, wearing a black puffer jacket and dark pants at the time of the incident. The passenger is also described as a man in his late teens or early 20s, last seen wearing a black vest over a white hoodie, along with light‑blue jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Calgary police at 403‑266‑1234. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers.
