NE Calgary multi-vehicle crash injures five

Five people were hurt in a multi-vehicle collision in northeast Calgary late Sunday night.

Police were called to 52 Street NE and 32 Avenue NE just before 11:30 p.m. for reports of a crash involving three vehicles.

The Calgary Fire Department extricated two adults from vehicles, police say.

Both of those individuals were taken to hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries.

Three other people suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene but not transported to hospital.
