Cyclist struck by vehicle on Calgary Barlow rushed to hospital: police

A cyclist has been rushed to hospital after being struck by a vehicle on a southeast highway, Calgary police said.

It happened at around noon on the 1200 block of Barlow Trail SE near Max Bell Centre.

Police say the cyclist received serious injuries and has been taken to hospital in stable condition.

Northbound Barlow Trail was closed at 12 Avenue SE while officers investigated. They have since reopened.
