Smoking could have worse impact than previously thought

Smoking may be even worse for you than you think.
A new report from the U.S Surgeon General links smoking to more diseases than previously thought, including diabetes, colon cancer and rhuematoid arthritis.
It has also been linked to increased risk of tuberculosis, age related blindness and ectopic pregnancies.
Eighteen per cent of Americans smoke, claiming almost half a million lives a year and costing almost $300-Billion in annual medical costs.
The American Lung Association is calling on the White House to regulate all tobacco products including E-cigarettes and to ensure access to approved smoking-cessation medication and counseling.
