The Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS has made the rounds on social and mainstream media and now there’s a new charity challenge underway, this time raising money for the Canadian Cancer Society.
It is called the “Fearless Challenge” where Canadians pledge to do something they’re afraid to do to raise money.
For example, one woman tells the Toronto Star, she’s planning to eat a steak after being a strict vegetarian for 23 years.
So far 270 people have signed up since the beginning of the month, and if all meet their fundraising goals, they will raise $800,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society.
