CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Calgary police have released photos and videos of a very distinctive golden truck stolen from a design shop in Calgary’s southeast, in hopes of finding the culprit.
Around 1 a.m. on February 1, a man broke into the fenced yard around the Divita Auto Design Shop along 3 Street S.E.
Once inside, the man pulled a green Dodge Ram truck with a flatbed attached to it into the compound and loaded a custom gold 2018 Dodge Ram truck onto the bed of the truck.
On February 27 around 9:30 a.m., the stolen gold truck was found heavily damaged down an embankment in McLean Creek, southwest of Calgary.
Police are releasing the photos and video in hopes someone may have seen it, or who may have been driving it.
The stolen truck has a custom gold exterior, with a blue frame and interior. It also had a noticeable lift.
The suspect vehicle is described as a green Dodge Ram, with lighter-colour paneling on the sides.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact police.
