Province shares plans for Fish Creek trail upgrades, looks for feedback from users

CALGARY – There are a lot of changes on the way for the trail networks in Fish Creek Park and the province would like to hear what you think about it.

The new master plan from the government is now available as well as a survey for feedback.

Some of the key design plans include mitigating environmental impacts, making the pathways easier to navigate, and making sure the trails are accessible to a variety of abilities and activities.

The plan has been developed by a number of stakeholder groups, including the Friends of Fish Creek Park Society and the Calgary Mountain Bike Alliance.

The province is investing $6.1 million in capital improvements to the park until 2022.
