Calgary mayoral candidate charged with criminal harassment

CALGARY – Police in Calgary have charged a mayoral candidate with criminal harassment.

Police say between April 24 and May 22, an Alberta Health Services employee was harassed in person and online.

Kevin J. Johnston, 49, has been charged with one count of criminal harassment.

He remains in custody due to other offenses and is scheduled to appear in court on July 12.
