One person hurt after crash sends SUV into building in downtown Calgary

One person was taken to hospital after a crash in downtown Calgary that sent a vehicle into a building.

One person was taken to hospital after a crash in downtown Calgary that sent a vehicle into a building.

Emergency crews were called to 9 Avenue SW, just west of 9 Street, for reports of a crash.

Images from the scene appear to show a white SUV with back end damage after having crashed into the wall of a building.

Paramedics tell CityNews one person was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

There is no word if any other vehicles were involved in the collision.
