Dump truck flips after hitting power pole in SE Calgary

It was quite the scene in southeast Calgary Friday afternoon after a dump truck ended up on its side after running into a power pole.

A dump truck flipped over after hitting a pole in an industrial area in southeast Calgary on Friday.

Emergency crews were called to the intersection of 11 Street SE and 64 Avenue SE around 4 p.m. for reports of a collision.

A dump truck crashed into a power pole and flipped onto its side, according to Calgary police.

The driver wasn’t hurt in the crash. No other injuries were reported.

There is no word what caused the crash.

Enmax has been advised of possible power outages in the area.
