A man who may have information about a double shooting earlier this month is being sought by Calgary police.
The investigation began around 10:55 p.m. on June 5 when officers were called to a home along 14 Avenue SW near 14 Street for reports of gunfire.
Officers arrived to find a man with gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital in critical condition and later upgraded to stable, but his injuries are considered life‑altering.
Police later learned a second man had also been shot. Witnesses said he ran from the scene before officers arrived.
Investigators believe he left in a vehicle and was taken to hospital, where he was also found to be in stable condition with life‑altering injuries. The driver who brought him in was arrested on unrelated warrants.
Investigators are now releasing a photo of a man believed to have information about what happened.
Anyone who can identify the person in the photo, or who has details about the shooting, is asked to call police at 403‑266‑1234. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers.
