A Lethbridge woman is going on a trip of a lifetime thanks to Oprah!
Linda Kennell was flown to Monday’s season premiere of the Oprah Winfrey Show after sending a letter to the show explaining how she was so inspired by the talk show host she went to Africa and opened a children’s orphanage.
Oprah, known for showering her audience with gifts, announced during the show she was taking everyone in the audience to Australia with her.
Kennell tells 660News it had been a dream of hers to be in the audience at the Oprah Winfrey Show for over 20 years and to be going to the land down under with the talk show host is more than she ever hoped for.
Kennel was also hugged by guest John Travolta, and will be travelling to Australia in December at Oprah’s expense.
She says she is the ultimate Oprah fan and has watched over 55 hundred hours of the show.
