The Canadian version of the popular show American Pickers debuts on TV Tuesday night.
Antiquing aficionados Scott Cozens and Sheldon Smithens team up to comb through people’s junk.
The told CityTV’s Breakfast Television it is really like ‘looking for a needle in a haystack.’
“Oh you wouldn’t believe it, sometimes it is barns stacked ten feet high. 20-thousand square feet and we walk out with one item,” say the pair.
The first episode takes place in Southern Alberta at the Blackfoot Truck Stop and with a Lethbridge collector who has everything from vintage saddles to stagecoaches.
Canadian Pickers premieres on History Television at 8 p.m. Tuesday night.
