Rising gas prices stretching cost of limos

High gas prices mean that the cost of luxury vehicle services, such as limousines, is rising as well.
Limousine companies have fuel surcharges in place, so as long as the price of gas goes up the cost of a limousine rental will rise, said president of Allante Limousine Christy Merkley whose business has seen a dip in business in the past couple months.
However, Merkley said there is plenty of limo competition in the city that may keep rental costs from rising too much.
We know that a lot of people are watching their budgets pretty carefully because they’re affected by the gas prices, the average person is affected by it,” she said.
