Calgary paramedic injured in SW hit and run

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – A Calgary paramedic has been sent to hospital with minor injuries after a hit and run on Tuesday night in the southwest.
According to police, EMS was tending to a patient around 9:15 p.m. on Hillgrove Drive in the community of Haysboro when a passing vehicle struck one of the paramedics loading a patient into an ambulance.
Police say the vehicle initially left the scene but was located a short time later parked in a driveway down the street and the driver arrested.
Charges are pending.
