RED DEER (660 NEWS) – A total number of 73 charges have now been laid against a man from Eckville previously arrested on child pornography offences.
Christopher Juneau, 34, was originally arrested in January after Alberta’s Law Enforcement Response Team (ALERT) received tips from police in Australia.

The Queensland Police Service informed ALERT’s Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) unit about an Alberta suspect trading child porn images online.
The investigation identified eight child victims who were allegedly assaulted by Juneau. Those incidents date back to 2013.
Investigators said forensic analysis of Juneau’s phone and computers has so far found more than 500,000 images and videos of child sexual exploitation and voyeurism.
The ICE unit’s forensic technicians have yet to complete the full analysis.

The charges against Juneau include multiple instances of sexual assault, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, voyeurism, possessing, accessing, distributing, and making child pornography, and breach of recognizance.
Juneau was charged with the new offences on March 1 and has remained in custody since January 18, when he was arrested by Sylvan Lake RCMP.
Anyone with information about this investigation, or other cases related to child sexual exploitation, is encouraged to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
