Cochrane RCMP investigate police badge, and 2-car robbery

Cochrane RCMP say officers are investigating a break-in robbery where a police badge, and two cars were stolen from a home in Cochrane.

Police say around 4:15 a.m., four suspects entered the house, and according to the doorbell camera footage, one man entered the main floor of the house from the front door, and took a bag that had an RCMP badge in it, and car keys. The suspect then ran away with another person and stole the victim’s Dodge Ram truck.

Meanwhile, another video shows two more suspects coming from an SUV that was waiting down the street, where they drove away taking the victim’s other vehicle, this time a Kia Telluride that was parked in the driveway.

Police say the incident is determined an unlawful break-in.

The first suspect is described as 5’6” to 5’10” tall, 170 to 185 pounds, with fair skin. The suspect was also wearing a GUCCI hoodie, a watch with a large circular face, dark thick framed glasses, and black bandana covering the lower part of his face, white running shoes with black laces, and blue jeans.
