Calgary police seek downtown sexual assault suspect

Calgary police seek a suspect that allegedly sexually assaulted a woman in downtown Calgary in early June.

Officers say it happened around 11:15 p.m. on June 7, when the victim rented an e-scooter at the 8 Street SW CTrain station.

Then, an unknown man allegedly grabbed her from behind and touched her in a “sexual manner without consent.”

Police say the suspect is between 20 to 25 years old, around 5’10” tall, with a medium build, brown eyes, black hair, and a short black beard.

Officers ask anyone with information about this incident to call them at 403-266-1234 or leave a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
