Man faces sexual assault charges involving 13-year-old girl: Lethbridge police

Lethbridge police say a man is facing charges involving the sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl, which they say was recorded and distributed over social media.

Officers say they received calls about a missing 13-year-old girl on June 22 at around 7 a.m.

They then found the girl in a vehicle with a man at a northside park.

Investigators determined that the girl was unconscious when she was assaulted, along with the videos of the incident being made available in a “message screen for distribution on social media.”

As a result, 19-year-old Lethbridge man Sean Cedric Bilo faces several charges, including sexual assault, sexual interference, make/print/publish child pornography, distributing child pornography, possession of child pornography, inviting sexual touching, and luring a child.

The suspect was released from custody with “numerous conditions” following a Judicial Interim Release.

Officers say he is expected to appear in court on July 5, 2023.

No further information has been provided at this time.
