One person dead after reported shooting at NW Calgary home

Calgary Police are investigating after one person was found dead following a reported shooting.

Police are investigating after a person was found dead inside a home in northwest Calgary on Friday.

Emergency crews were called to the 14200 block of 1 Street NW in the Carrington community around 5 p.m. for reports of a shooting.

Calgary police say one person was found dead inside a home.

Callers to the 660 NewsRadio newsroom reported a heavy police presence with dozens of vehicles in the area.

The homicide unit and Forensic Crime Scene unit are on scene investigating. No other details have been made available.
