Additionally, there are a couple of Remembrance Day parades, and the City of Calgary is making adjustments to services and recreational facilities.
Here is a list of ceremonies taking place in Calgary.
Field of Crosses

The Field of Crosses on Memorial Drive NW will have its yearly ceremony this Tuesday, giving Calgarians a chance to pay their respects.
The Remembrance Day Ceremony will be held at the field just after 10 a.m. and will also be televised.
The parking lot next to the field is “very restricted,” so organizers recommend people park on the South side of the river in the Eau Claire area and walk across the bridge to the field.
Meanwhile, Memorial Drive in front of the Field of Crosses will be closed from 9 a.m. until after the ceremony.

A screening of the short documentary film Tattoo 67, which has highlights from the military tribute during Canada’s centennial celebrations, will conclude the ceremony.
Lastly, there will be a screening of Bye Bye Blues around 1 p.m., described as a “moving story of love, resilience, and music during wartime.”

An outdoor service for Remembrance Day is taking place at the Hangar Flight Museum on Tuesday.
The helicopter landing area behind The Hangar Flight Museum was once a parade square during the Second World War as part of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan.
It partnered with Eagle Copters and Alpine Helicopters to host the service, which have been doing so for the past few years. The event is “snow or shine,” so guests are asked to dress for the weather.
Doors open at 9:30 a.m. and organizers ask those planning to attend to be seated by 10:15 a.m. for a 10:30 a.m. start time. and admission is by cash donation.
The museum will be open for admission by donation from noon to 4 p.m.

The Military Museums in southwest Crowfoot in Calgary is hosting a Remembrance Day ceremony.
Doors will open to the public after the Remembrance Day service at 11:45 a.m. and will close at 6 p.m.

The ceremony begins at 10:45 a.m., the “Last Post” is performed at 10:58, lowering the flags, and two minutes of silence happen at 11:06 a.m.
Guests are welcome to lay a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument after the ceremony. Staff will escort guests to and from the monument. Real poppies are allowed to be laid, while plastic poppies are not recommended.
“Reminder to please dress warmly, and plan to arrive early as past events have been well attended,” the notice on the ceremony reads.

A moment of silence will happen at 11 a.m., followed by the sound of a train whistle at 11:02 a.m.
CPKC say all Calgarians are invited, and flags on CPKC properties throughout Canada are lowered to half-mast.
