Police not looking for suspects after two deaths at NE Calgary home

Calgary police say they are not looking for any suspects after two people died at a home in the northeast community of Redstone on Wednesday.

Officers responded to reports of a disturbance at around 12:41 a.m.

When they arrived at a home near Redstone Park, they found two adults suffering from severe injuries. One person died at the scene despite life‑saving efforts, while the second died later in hospital.

Police initially said the investigation was ongoing and that there was no further risk to the public. In an update, the Calgary Police Service confirmed that the Homicide Unit continues to investigate but is not currently seeking any suspects.

Autopsies for the two adults are scheduled for Thursday. Police say additional information will be released once they are complete.
