Calgary Flames to open 2023-24 season at home

The team announced its full regular season schedule Tuesday, which will feature four games against most divisional opponents.

Get set for an all-Canadian battle at the Saddledome to usher in the 2023-24 National Hockey League season.

The Calgary Flames will host the Winnipeg Jets on Oct. 11 for the mid-week contest.

The Flames welcome the Philadelphia Flyers on New Year’s Eve, and the first Battle of Alberta is a big one — the Heritage Classic at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton on Oct. 29.

The 2023-24 schedule features 22 Saturday games for the Flames, more than any other day of the week.

As for back-to-backs, it’s a scenario Calgary will have to deal with eight times over the season, the first on Oct. 19 in Buffalo, followed by a meeting in Columbus the following night.
