Calgary police are asking the public for the public’s help in finding a man they say is missing under “suspicious circumstances.”
Investigators say Abdul Mufti, 71, was reported missing from the northeast community of Falconridge and was last scene on or about Thursday, Aug. 3, near his home.
A search warrant was executed on the man’s last known residence, according to police, which has led them to believe “the circumstances surrounding his disappearance are suspicious.”
Because of these circumstances and this behaviour being out of character for Mufti, police and family are concerned for his well-being.
Investigators also believe the missing man’s credit cards have been used in and around Calgary and have determined the transactions haven’t been made by Mufti.
The man is described as 5’10’ tall, around 195 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.
Anyone with information about the location of Mufti is asked to contact police by calling 403-266-1234 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
