Juno Award Winners play Calgary’s CORE Shopping Centre for charity

The Core Shopping Centre is hosting a special celebration Thursday that will help benefit school music programs.
TD Bank is putting on the event as they open a new convenience centre at the mall.
Senior Vice President Brian Gervais tells 660 NEWS, two well-known Canadian singer/songwriters will headline a concert over the lunch hour for the charity, MusiCounts.
“Chantal Kreviazuk and Raine Maida. We have some opening acts: Command Sisters and Sidney York are going to play, and the Legacy Children’s Foundation will also be joining Chantal and Raine for a very special performance. This concert takes place on the level two, the west end of the Core Mall at 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.,” he said.
Kreviazuk and Maida will hit the stage at about 12:45 p.m.
TD Bank will also be raffling off a $15,000 prize package that includes the ultimate VIP Junos experience.
