UCP’s Travis Toews launches campaign for UCP leadership election

One of the candidates for the leader of the UCP, Travis Toews, officially launched his campaign at the Rotary House on the Stampede Grounds at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 4.
Toews resigned as Alberta’s finance minister following Kenney’s statement saying cabinet ministers who enter the race to replace him must resign their posts.
Toews also announced his two campaign co-chairs MLA for Calgary Northwest, Sonya Savage, and MP for Grand Prairie-Mackenzie, Chris Warkentin.
