The City of Red Deer is inviting people to participate in the “Year of the Garden” activities through an online scavenger hunt to explore the beauty of their city.
“As Canada’s most active community, we know Red Deerians love our outdoor spaces and this contest is another great way for people to enjoy our world-class park and trail system,” said Mayor Ken Johnston.
Each week of August on social media, the city will provide hints online. Residents need to decipher the clues, find a specific location, take selfies there and post them to the city’s website.
