Woman found dead in Forest Heights park

Calgary police are investigating after a woman’s body was found in a Forest Lawn park early Tuesday morning.
Officers were called around 5:30 a.m. for reports that a woman’s body was located by a couple walking in Fonda Park, in the southeast community of Forest Heights.
Investigators say an autopsy has been scheduled for Wednesday.
The woman’s cause of death remains undetermined.
Authorities add they are in the process of speaking with witnesses and collecting CCTV from the area.
