Capitol Hill shooting victim identified, Calgary’s 14th homicide: police

The victim of a fatal shooting in Capitol Hill has been identified following an autopsy, according to Calgary police.

The Chief Medical Examiner has identified the victim as 33-year-old Calgary man Jordan Jacques-Vetten.

Meanwhile, police are still seeking any information from the public regarding the homicide, one police mark as the city’s 14th.

They ask to speak with anyone who may have been in contact with the victim on Sept. 8, or in the early morning hours on Sept. 9 before his death.

In addition, police note the red Pontiac Sunfire has been found.
