Part of major Calgary road to close for 6 weeks for construction

A major Calgary road is set to close for six weeks, as the city installs a storm pipe tie-in under the roadway near the Canyon Meadows Golf and Country Club.

Starting Monday Oct. 30, there will be a full closure of all lanes on 14 Street SW from Anderson Road to Canyon Meadows Drive.

A detour route will be set up along Elbow Drive SW.

The Canyon Creek community entrance at Canso Crescent SW will remain open, accessible by westbound Canyon Meadows Drive, and access to the golf course will also remain open via Canyon Meadows Drive SW.
