Two youth arrested after student shot with BB gun in NE Calgary

A student was injured after Calgary Police say he was shot with a BB Gun in NE Calgary.

Two youth suspects are in custody after a student was shot with a BB gun on Monday afternoon.

Calgary police say officers were called to Falshire Drive NE in the community of Falconridge around 12:40 p.m. after getting reports of someone being attacked with a weapon.

Police say one student was shot at with a BB gun and sustained minor injuries.

Two youth fled but were taken into custody a short time later.

Police have not confirmed the age of the student victim or suspects. There is a junior high, Terry Fox School, and elementary school, Grant MacEwan School, in the area.
