Cavalry game postponed due to adverse weather, Stamps to play as normal

By CityNews Staff

The wet weather has postponed Cavalry FC’s game against Pacific FC on Saturday.

In a post on social media, the Cavs said they will be providing more information regarding the game once Canada Soccer officials assess the field.

As of 2 p.m., Cavalry said that the game was going to be moved to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 22.

The Cavalry also notes that they are not issuing refunds for tickets that have been purchased for today’s game; however, tickets will not need to be repurchased and will still be good for Sunday.

As for the Calgary Stampeders, they said on social media that the wet weather had cancelled their fan zone, but the game against the Ottawa Redblacks will still be kicking off at 2 p.m.
