Cavalry game postponed due to adverse weather, Stamps to play as normal

The wet weather has postponed Cavalry FC’s game against Pacific FC on Saturday.
In a post on social media, the Cavs said they will be providing more information regarding the game once Canada Soccer officials assess the field.

Due to the weather, kickoff for today’s match has been postponed until further notice. We will have another update shortly once Canada Soccer officials have assessed the field of play (within the next hour).

As of 2 p.m., Cavalry said that the game was going to be moved to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 22.
Today’s match between Cavalry FC and Pacific FC has been rescheduled due to unplayable pitch conditions following heavy rainfall in the Calgary area.

The match will now be played on Sunday, June 22 at 5 p.m. MT on ATCO Field at Spruce Meadows.

The Cavalry also notes that they are not issuing refunds for tickets that have been purchased for today’s game; however, tickets will not need to be repurchased and will still be good for Sunday.
As for the Calgary Stampeders, they said on social media that the wet weather had cancelled their fan zone, but the game against the Ottawa Redblacks will still be kicking off at 2 p.m.
Due to inclement weather proceeding through the day, the East Fan Zone has been cancelled for this game.
