Canada’s Alanis Morissette playing Calgary Stampede Concert Series

You oughta know this, Canadian Alanis Morissette will be coming to the Calgary Stampede this year, the newest addition that will hit the stage at the Scotiabank Saddledome as part of this year’s Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth.

Celebrated Canadian singer Alanis Morissette will be performing at the Calgary Stampede’s Concert Series for one night only, officials announced Monday.

Presented by Uber Eats at the 2026 Calgary Stampede, she is set to bring her iconic voice to the Scotiabank Saddledome on July 11.

“As a Canadian artist whose music has had a global impact, Alanis’ performance at the Stampede reflects the kind of meaningful, high-calibre live music experience audiences expect at The Greatest Music Festival in the West,” said Meghan Kivisto, the vice-president of sales and marketing at the Calgary Stampede.

Morissette is the second artist announced for the Stampede Concert Series after A$AP Rocky, who was announced in January.

Tickets go on sale on Thursday, Feb. 12, and can be purchased on Ticketmaster. It includes admission to the Calgary Stampede on the same day she performs.

Pre-sale tickets for Stampede Insiders begin Tuesday, Feb. 10, at 10 a.m.

After debuting with Jagged Little Pill in 1995, along with having many chart-topping singles such as “Ironic,” “You Oughta Know,” “Hand In My Pocket,” and “Thank U,” Morissette has continued touring and recording music ever since.

She had a world tour in 2021 celebrating the 25th anniversary of Jagged Little Pill, followed by the 35-date Triple Moon Tour, which reportedly sold over half a million tickets and filled venues across North America.

The Calgary Stampede recently announced a total economic output of $872 million for 2025, and $721 million across Alberta. Calgary itself saw a $664 million payoff, including nearly $191 million in wages and salaries to locals.
