The owner of Calgary’s Inner City Boxing Club and inductee in the Canadian Boxing Hall of Fame has died at 75.
Ken Billinghurst ran his club for over 30 years until he retired in 2002.
He remained involved in the world of boxing after his official retirement, helping to form the Chestermere Boxing Commission and the Taber Boxing Commission.
He also worked as a consultant on several boxing shows around Alberta.
